Cape Bailey Coastal Walk, Botany Bay National Park, New South Wales -- about 20 km SSE of Sydney. Until recently this was considered the sole species in this genus in NSW. But a recent study has shown that many species traditionally placed in Eriostemon are more closely related to this than to the type species of Eriostemon. The upshot was that they were all transferred into Philotheca, leaving only 2 species of true Eriostemon.
