Rhododendron decorum (大白杜鹃) is a rhododendron species native to Myanmar and Guizhou, Sichuan, Xizang, and Yunnan, China, where it grows at altitudes of 1000–3300 meters. It is a shrub or small tree that grows to 1–6 m in height, with leathery leaves that are oblong, oblong-ovate or oblong-elliptic, 5–19 by 3–11 cm in size. Flowers are white to pale pink.

Shrubs or small trees, 1-6 m tall; young shoots greenish, glabrous. Petiole 12-40 mm, glabrous; leaf blade thickly leathery, oblong, oblong-ovate or oblong-elliptic, 5-19 (-30) cm long, 3-11 cm wide; base cordate or cuneate to nearly rounded; apex obtuse, rounded, apiculate; both surfaces glabrous when mature; abaxial surface pale green; adaxial surface deep green, midrib prominent abaxially, grooved adaxially; lateral veins 18-paired. Inflorescence 8-10-flowered; rachis 20-25 mm, sparsely glandular. Pedicel stout, 2.5-4 cm, glandular-hairy; calyx lobes 5, 1.5-2.5 mm, glandular-hairy; corolla funnel-campanulate, fragrant, white to pale pink, 3-10 cm long, 5-9 cm wide, outer surface sparsely glandular, inner surface puberulent at base; lobes 6-8, suborbicular, ca. 2 × 2.4 cm, emarginate or entire; stamens 13-16, unequal, 2-3 cm, filaments pubescent at base; ovary cylindric, ca. 6 mm, densely glandular-hairy; style 3.4-4 cm, with similar glands to tip; stigma 2-5 (-6.5) mm in diameter. Capsule oblong, usually slightly curved, 25-40 mm long, 10–15 mm wide.

Shrub or small tree, 1-6 m. Leaves oblanceolate to elliptic, (5.5—)7—15 x (2.2-)3-6.8 cm, (2-)2.3-3 x as long as broad, apex ± rounded, mucronate, base rounded, lower surface glabrous when mature except for punctulate hair bases; petioles 1.5-4 cm, glabrous. Inflorescence 7-10-flowered; rhachis 15-30 mm; pedicels 15-30 mm, stipitate-glandular. Calyx 1-3 mm, lobes minute, rounded, stipitate-glandular. Corolla 6-7-lobed, funnel-campanulate, usually sparsely glandular outside, often more densely so within, white to pale pink, with or without green or crimson flecks, 45-55(-62) mm. Stamens 14-16, filaments puberulent below. Ovary and style stipitate-glandular, glands whitish. Capsule 20-30 x c. 12 mm, usually slightly curved.
