| Description | I found several of these tiny gems while crawling through the scrub. Their common names include Pigeon Berry, Rouge Plant, Blood Berry, Baby Pepper and Coral Berry. It is a member of the pokeweed family and the red berries were once used to make dye and rouge. Juno Dunes Natural Area (south section). |
