| Description | I had the flowering stem in a vase on my porch, and this ant crawled up on it and was very intent on staying. I was able to move the flowers around for some convenient angles. I have seen ants probing the nectaries on these flowers before, and this one started to do so, but never stuck to it. I'm not sure what type of ant it is, but to me, it looks like a Carpenter Ant, Camponotus. PCCA20080601-2338A |
